While the outbreak has caused a wave of uncertainty across the country, we want to reassure you that Luxury Hideaways is very much OPEN for business. We’re monitoring the situation daily and keeping tabs on the latest government advice to provide a safe and comfortable stay for our guests.
Our two pods are incredibly remote and sufficiently distanced from one another to minimise the risk of cross-contamination significantly.
We work on a self check-in and check-out system
You can rest assured that you won’t have any unnecessary contact with another person throughout your stay.
When it comes time for your stay, you’ll be able to access your pod via a touch screen keypad for the gate and a button key for the main door. Next to the keypads you’ll find your own hand sanitiser dispenser which we refill regularly. We encourage you to use as much hand sanitiser as you like.

The coronavirus outbreak is a serious threat that must be treated as such. The team at Luxury Hideaways is doing everything in our power to help guests escape from the city and enjoy a comfortable stay in private away from other people.
We’ve installed hand sanitiser pumps in both pods and are conducting thorough anti-bacterial overhauls before each arrival. Our cleaners are the best in the area and are working under strict guidelines to ensure no stone is left unturned. Every surface is disinfected, and we inspect each pod to ensure it meets our rigorous hygiene standards.
Stay Safe in a Social-Distancing area
If you’re planning to self-distance, there are a few essential tips and tricks to minimise your chance of infection while you enjoy a moment of peace in the safety of your luxury pod.
- Leave any germs at the door. We provide moisturising hand sanitiser at each entrance gate and use a touch-screen telecom system to avoid any nasties finding their way into your hideaway. We’ve also installed key boxes with unique access codes and regular sanitisation to prevent unnecessary human interactions.
- Wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and warm water. Our pods offer a lovely selection of Molten Brown toiletries and plenty of freshly-laundered hand towels to keep personal hygiene levels at an all-time high.
- Avoid contact with other people. The isolated location of our pods makes them the perfect place to avoid human contact. The UK government has advised that all face-to-face interactions with people showing symptoms of a cold or flu should be avoided.
- Cover your airways if you cough or sneeze. Be sure to have tissues at the ready to cover your nose and mouth every time you cough or sneeze. Enjoy a fully-stocked supply of tissues and loo roll in your blissful hideaway.
